Who Can Apply - Qualification

The minimum qualification depends on the post you are applying for:

  • AE Class-1: Engineering Degree with 5 years of experience
  • Deputy Planner: Architecture or Planning Degree + Post Graduate in Planning + 5 years of experience
  • Junior Engineer: Degree or Diploma in Engineering (2 years experience preferred)
  • Deputy Accountant: B.Com with 60% marks + MS-CIT + 3 years of experience
  • Shorthand Typist: SSC pass + Shorthand speed 80 WPM + Typing speed 40 WPM
  • Surveyor: HSC + ITI Surveyor course + MS-CIT + AutoCAD knowledge + 2 years experience
  • Computer Technician: SSC + 2-year Hardware & Networking certificate + 7 years experience

MS-CIT is needed for several posts. Marathi language proficiency is also needed. Maharashtra domicile is needed for reserved category candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out engineering, planning, and technical work related to Mumbai Metropolitan Region development projects
  • Prepare plans, designs, estimates and reports for infrastructure projects
  • Supervise construction and maintenance work at project sites
  • Handle land and property management related tasks (for relevant posts)

Minimum Qualification

MS-CIT, AutoCAD (for Surveyor), Marathi proficiency, Shorthand and Typing (for Typist post)

Exam Pattern

The written exam will be an Online Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by TCS. The exam will have 100 questions for 200 marks. You will get 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete it. Subjects (example for AE Class-1 Civil): - Part 1 - Marathi: 20 questions - Part 2 - English: 20 questions - Part 3 - General Knowledge: 10 questions - Part 4 - Intellectual Test (Reasoning): 10 questions - Part 5 - Technical: 40 questions Total: 100 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes Note: The exam pattern may vary for different posts. Check the official notification for post-wise exam details. A Skill Test will also be conducted for applicable posts like Shorthand Typist.
