Who Can Apply?

• One-time relaxation: The above limits include the 5-year one-time relaxation under Karnataka Government order dated 29 January 2026, applicable until 31 December 2027.
• Other relaxation: PwD, widow, and bonded labour categories get 10 years where applicable; ex-servicemen get service period plus 3 years.

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 44,425 - 83,700 for Stenographer Grade-III.
• Increment pattern: The notification lists staged increments from Rs. 44,425 up to Rs. 83,700.

• Probation: Selected staff will be on 2 years probation and must clear required departmental and computer literacy tests as per rules.

Selection Process
