Mizoram PSC Assistant & UDC Recruitment 2026 - 65 Posts

Mizoram PSC is hiring 65 Assistant Grade and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts across 15 different departments of the Government of Mizoram. If you have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University and know Mizo language, you can apply online. The last date is 19 June 2026. The salary is in Pay Level 6 and Level 7 (Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month).

Mizoram PSC Assistant Grade & UDC Combined Recruitment 2026 - 65 Posts (Advertisement No. 13 of 2026-2027)

The Mizoram Public Service Commission has released Advertisement No. 13 of 2026-2027 for a combined direct recruitment to 65 clerical posts across the Government of Mizoram. The vacancies are split between 30 Assistant Grade posts under DP&AR(SSW) at Pay Level 7 and 35 UDC posts at Pay Level 6 spread across 14 different departments and offices. You must mandatorily indicate your post preference in the application form, and the option once exercised is final.

Vacancy Breakdown by Post

PwBD Reservations:

• Assistant Grade (DP&AR SSW): 1 post for autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, mental illness
• UDC (Sports & Youth Services): 1 post for blindness & low vision
• UDC (Public Health Engineering): 1 post for blindness & low vision
• UDC (Art & Culture): 1 post for deaf and hard of hearing

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University.
• Computer Proficiency: You need computer proficiency as prescribed under the Mizoram Group A, B and C posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
• Mizo Language Proficiency: You must pass the qualifying test in Mizo. If you studied Mizo in Class X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram, or took Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram, the test is waived.
• Government Servants: Must apply through proper channel.
• Ex-Servicemen: If you have already availed the Ex-Servicemen quota earlier, you cannot re-avail it unless the rules expressly allow.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 35 years old as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates, or as notified by the government.
• HSLC/HSSLC certificate is accepted as age proof.

Salary

• Assistant Grade (Pay Level 7): approximately Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
• UDC (Pay Level 6): approximately Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Mizoram Government rules.

Application Fee

• Fee is paid online through the MPSC portal (UPI must use the registered mobile number).
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): No fee — fully exempted.
• Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection happens in the following stages:

1. Written Examination: Conducted by MPSC at all district headquarters of Mizoram. Syllabus is available on the Commission's website.
2. Mizo Language Proficiency Test: Qualifying test (waived for those who studied Mizo in HSLC or MIL).
3. Personal Interview by the concerned authority.
4. Document Verification against uploaded certificates.

How to Apply

1. Go to the MPSC online portal at mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if not done already.
3. Fill in the online application form for Advertisement No. 13 of 2026-2027 and choose your post preference.
4. Upload your HSLC marksheets and certificates, graduation documents, computer proficiency certificate, Mizo language proof, and age proof.
5. Pay the application fee online (PwD candidates are exempted).
6. Verify the submission status and take a printout for your records.
