Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is filling Scaler (Group C) posts for the Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation (Uttarakhand Van Vikas Nigam) through direct recruitment under Advertisement No. 82/2026. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of post: Non-gazetted and temporary, covered under EPF.
• Uttarakhand link needed: You must meet at least one of the notice's conditions, such as registration at an employment office in Uttarakhand by the last date, holding an Uttarakhand domicile/permanent residence certificate, or having passed High School and Intermediate from institutions in the state.
• Reservation only for state residents: Vertical and horizontal reservation (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, women, ex-servicemen, orphans, skilled sportspersons, state agitators and others) applies only to domiciles of Uttarakhand. Candidates from outside the state are treated as unreserved.
• Relaxed height for hill communities: Scheduled Tribe candidates and candidates from Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Nepali and other listed hill communities get a lower minimum height; upload the hill-area or ST certificate with the form and bring it to the physical test.
• Eyesight: You cannot be appointed if your normal vision defect is more than +/- 4.00 diopters.
• Preference: When other things are equal, candidates with two years in the Territorial Army or an NCC B or C certificate get preference.
• Serving employees: If you work for the central or state government or a public undertaking, inform your employer before applying and keep a No Objection Certificate ready for document scrutiny.
• Vacancy numbers may change: The total and category-wise posts can go up or down as per the latest reservation rules of the Uttarakhand government.
• EWS certificate window: The EWS certificate must be issued between 1 April 2026 and 22 October 2026, based on income for 2025-26.

Application Submission Notes
