Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 to fill 1 Executive Engineer post (Pay Level-11) and 1 Assistant Director (Official Language) post (Pay Level-10) through transfer on deputation. This is a deputation-only recruitment — only serving officers from Central / State Governments / UTs with the prescribed service experience can apply through proper channel. The deputation period is 3 years, extendable by 2 years.

Who Can Apply?

For Executive Engineer (Pay Level-11):

• You must have a Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.
• You should be a serving officer holding analogous posts with same pay scale in the parent cadre with experience in Civil works, OR
• An Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 7 years' experience in Civil Works in Pay Level-7, OR
• An Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) or equivalent in Pay Level-10 with 4 years' regular service in the grade.

For Assistant Director (Official Language) (Pay Level-10):

• You must be a Central / State Government / UT officer holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR with 3 years' service in Pay Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 - Rs. 1,42,400).
• You should hold a Master's degree from a recognised University in Hindi (with English) or English (with Hindi), or in any other subject with Hindi/English as compulsory or elective subject or medium of examination.
• You must have 3 years' experience in Hindi terminological work and English-Hindi translation (preferably technical/scientific) under Central/State Government / Autonomous Body / PSU / University / recognised research institution, OR 3 years' experience of teaching/research in Hindi and English.

Note: Departmental officers in the direct line of promotion are not eligible. The total deputation period (including in other ex-cadre posts) shall not exceed 3 years.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: below 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Salary

• Executive Engineer: Pay Level-11 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix — Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• Assistant Director (Official Language): Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix — Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
• Plus DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Central Government rules
• Deputation period: 3 years, extendable by 2 years on year-to-year basis

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

This is a deputation-based recruitment, so selection is done as follows:

1. Application Screening: Applications are received through proper channel from cadre controlling authority along with vigilance clearance, integrity certificate, and ACRs/APARs of the last 5 years.
2. Eligibility Verification: Service records and prescribed qualifications/experience are verified by KVS.
3. Final Selection: Based on eligibility, service records, and suitability for the post.

4. Attach: Vigilance Clearance / Integrity Certificate, photocopies of ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years (duly attested on each page by competent authority), and certificate of service particulars verified from records.
