Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is filling 2 deputation posts: Executive Engineer and Assistant Director (Official Language). Who Can Apply?

Executive Engineer

Candidates must have a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university and must satisfy one of the deputation service conditions below.

• Holding an analogous post in the same pay scale in the parent cadre with experience in civil works; or
• Working as Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 7 years of civil works experience in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix; or
• Working as Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) or equivalent in Level 10 with 4 years of regular service in the grade.

Assistant Director (Official Language)

This post is open to eligible officers from the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories. Candidates must either hold an analogous post on regular basis or have 3 years of regular service in Pay Level 7.

• Required academic background includes a Master's degree in Hindi, English, or another subject with the required Hindi-English combination at degree level.
• Required experience is 3 years in Hindi terminology and English-Hindi translation work, preferably technical or scientific literature, or 3 years in teaching/research in Hindi and English.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: below 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
• The latest corrigendum says the age-limit terms are unchanged.

Deputation Terms

• Initial deputation period: 3 years
• Extension: extendable by 2 years on a year-to-year basis
• Regulation: terms and conditions are governed by the Department of Personnel and Training O.M. dated 28 March 2024 mentioned in the advertisement.
• Important restriction: departmental officers in the direct feeder category for promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration, and deputationists are not eligible for promotion consideration.
