The Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) in Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, is looking to hire 3 sports science professionals — Physiotherapist Grade II, Physiotherapist Grade I, and Masseur Grade II (Female) — on a contractual basis. These roles directly support India's elite athletes at the KISCE facility. The monthly salary ranges from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 80,000 depending on the post. The U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, through its Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, runs the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence at Silvassa under the national Khelo India scheme. KISCE identifies and trains elite athletes across sports disciplines including Table Tennis, Athletics, and Archery. Physiotherapist Grade II
- Essential qualification: Masters in Physiotherapy from a recognised Indian or foreign university
- Essential experience: Minimum 3 years as a Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist Grade I
- Essential qualification: Masters in Physiotherapy from a recognised Indian or foreign university
- Essential experience: Minimum 3 years as a Physiotherapist
Masseur Grade II (Female)
- Essential qualification: Diploma or Certificate Course in Massage Therapy
- Essential experience: Minimum 1 year
- Note: This post is open to female candidates only
Age Limit
- Physiotherapist Grade II: Maximum 45 years as on the last date of receipt of applications
- Physiotherapist Grade I: Maximum 45 years as on the last date of receipt of applications
- Masseur Grade II (Female): Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of applications
- Age is determined from the Matriculation / Secondary School Leaving Certificate
Salary
- Physiotherapist Grade II: Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 80,000 per month (actual amount decided based on expertise and interview performance)
- Physiotherapist Grade I: Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 60,000 per month
- Masseur Grade II (Female): Rs. 35,000 – Rs. 55,000 per month
- No TA/DA, accommodation, residential phone, conveyance, HRA, or LTC admissible. TDS deducted as per rules.
- Leave entitlement: 30 days per calendar year on pro-rata basis

Responsibilities
- Plan and develop physiotherapy protocols tailored to each athlete's needs at the KISCE facility
- Maintain detailed records of present and past injuries for athletes in the camp and centre
- Manage hydrotherapy, sauna/steam bath, and other recovery facilities available at the centre
- Work with the team doctor to evolve injury prevention strategies for athletes
- Handle injury management in the field during training sessions and competitions
- Monitor day-to-day injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletes
- Assist in implementing broader injury prevention strategies across sports disciplines

Diploma/Certificate in Massage Therapy (Masseur); Masters in Physiotherapy (Physiotherapist)
