District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Junagadh is selecting Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) for legal services work across Junagadh district and its taluka committees. If you have passed SSC/Class 10 or equivalent and can read and write Gujarati well, you can apply offline. The last date to submit the form is 29 June 2026. PLVs get an honorarium of Rs. 750 per working day for duty performed, not a regular government salary.

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Qualification

• Education: You should have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC/Class 10) exam or an equivalent exam recognized by the government.
• Language: You should have good knowledge of Gujarati reading and writing.
• Local service interest: The role is meant for people who can help with legal awareness and community-level legal aid work.

Suitable Applicant Groups

• Teachers and retired teachers
• Retired government employees and senior citizens
• Anganwadi workers, doctors and physicians
• MSW students/teachers and law students
• Service-oriented NGO/club members, women's group members and self-help group members
• Any other suitable person considered fit by DLSA or Taluka Legal Services Committee

Who Should Not Apply

• Advocates and persons actively connected with political organizations are not suitable for this PLV engagement.
• Persons convicted in a criminal case, medically or mentally unfit for PLV duties, or having a personal interest that affects PLV work are not suitable.

Honorarium

• PLVs will get Rs. 750 per working day for actual duty performed.
• The notice states that no other pay, allowance or benefit will be payable.
• This is a volunteer engagement, not a regular government employee post.

Selection Process

DLSA Junagadh will select PLVs as per requirement for district and taluka legal services work.

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications and attached documents will be checked first.
2. Shortlisting: If applications are more than the requirement, DLSA may shortlist applicants.
3. Oral Interview: Shortlisted applicants may be called for a mukhi interview/oral interview.
4. Document Verification: Original details and supporting documents may be verified before final selection.

3. Attach self-attested copies of required documents and a recent passport size photo.

5. The application must reach before 29 June 2026. Late, incomplete or unsigned applications will not be considered.
