JNCASR Research Associate Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), an autonomous institution under the Department of Science and Technology, has released notification NCU-EMR-170 for one Research Associate position. The role is part of an ANRF-sponsored project titled "Functional Validation of the miR-7a-KLF4 Axis in Neuroinflammation and Alzheimer's Disease and Development of Nanocarrier-Based Delivery Systems" under Principal Investigator Prof. T Govindaraju. This is a strong opportunity for PhD holders who want hands-on research in chemical biology and neuroscience.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• You must have a PhD in Chemistry or Life Sciences with good research experience and a publication record.

Desirable Qualification

• PhD in Chemistry or Life Sciences with research experience in Chemical Biology, Neuroscience, or Biomedical Sciences related to the project.
• Candidates with research experience in RNA therapeutics, small molecules and peptide therapeutics are encouraged to apply.

If you are already employed, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 58,000 per month.
• Plus applicable HRA as per institute rules.
