Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) has invited applications (Advt. No. NCU-EMR-171) for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow under the sponsored project "Centre of Excellence (COE) at JNCASR – National Centre for Carbon Capture and Utilization (NCCCU)", led by Principal Investigator Prof. Sebastian C. Peter in the New Chemistry Unit. An M.Sc in Chemistry is desirable in addition to the essential qualification. This is a good opportunity for science graduates and postgraduates who want to build a research career in carbon capture technology. The project is sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under project code DST-JNCASR/SCP/4696B, and the position is based at the New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: A Post Graduate degree in Basic Science, OR a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in a Professional Course with a valid score in a National Level exam (GATE or NET).
• Desirable Qualification: An M.Sc in Chemistry is preferred.
• If you are currently employed, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer along with your application.

Age Limit

• You should be 28 years or younger to apply for this Junior Research Fellow position.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA as Junior Research Fellow remuneration.
