JIPMER Project Technical Support I Recruitment 2026: Overview

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is hiring a Project Technical Support-I for its Department of ENT in Puducherry/Karaikal. The contractual role supports EXCEL-CBME, an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded study on script concordance testing, clinical reasoning and bedside learning. Led by Dr. Sivaraman G, the study connects medical education work with collaborating institutions.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial engagement: The contract runs for six months. An extension depends on your performance and the project having funds available.
• Project period: The study has a stated duration of one year and nine months. This does not make the initial appointment a contract for the entire study period.
• Funding link: Your engagement depends on external project support. It gives you no claim to a regular JIPMER position, and the investigator can extend or shorten it.
• Recruitment discretion: The investigator can alter the stated conditions and use stricter screening criteria when applications are numerous. Meeting the minimum requirements does not assure a call.
• Accuracy: False information or attempts to influence recruitment can lead to disqualification. If discovered after joining, they can also end the engagement.
• Travel costs: You must bear your own costs for attending the interview. The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance.
• Pay conditions: The consolidated amount may change during the engagement. The notice does not provide additional facilities beyond the stated consolidated package.

• Enter, clean and anonymize research data in Excel, SPSS or R formats.
• Coordinate with partner colleges and support recordings and transcription for discussions.
• Handle procurement records, stationery and files needed for audits.
