Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is recruiting serving officers on deputation for its Puducherry and Karaikal campuses. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Deputation tenure: Computer Programmer, Purchase Officer and Data Processing Assistant Grade A at Puducherry are limited to one year. The remaining appointments ordinarily start with three years, extendable under applicable DoPT orders.
• Service rules: DoPT orders and amendments, together with JIPMER rules, govern the appointments.
• Promotion channels: where the notice specifies the restriction, departmental officers in the direct line of promotion cannot be considered for deputation; deputationists cannot use that route for promotion.
• Completeness: incomplete applications, missing supporting documents and late receipt lead to rejection. JIPMER does not accept responsibility for postal delay.
• Other conditions: applicants must not have a court conviction. The competent authority may cancel or withdraw a vacancy without assigning a reason.
