  • Alternative experience: Comparable experience in research or higher education, or 15 years administrative experience with 8 years as Deputy Controller of Examinations or equivalent.

Deputy Controller of Examinations and Deputy Registrar

  • Qualification: Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Experience: 9 years as Assistant Professor at Academic Level 10 and above with educational administration, or comparable research/higher education experience.
  • Administrative route: 5 years as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post is also accepted.

Finance Officer

  • Qualification: Master's degree with at least 55% marks and 8 years management-level experience in finance and accounts.
  • Professional route: ICWAI, ICAI or MBA Finance with 5 years management-level finance experience is also accepted.
  • Preference: Commerce or finance background and experience in an educational institute are useful.

Salary

  • Controller of Examinations: Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month at Academic Level 14.
  • Deputy Controller of Examinations: Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,11,500 per month at Academic Level 12.
  • Deputy Registrar: Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,11,500 per month at Academic Level 12.
  • Finance Officer: PB-4 Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 plus Grade Pay Rs. 12,700.
  • Other allowances will follow the University rules and applicable Assam Government norms.
