Indian Army Nursing Assistant & Sepoy Pharma Recruitment 2026

The Indian Army has released an official notification for recruitment of Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant), Nursing Assistant (Veterinary), and Sepoy Pharma posts. This is a great chance for young Indian men who want to serve the nation in the medical and pharmacy field of the Indian Army.

Online applications are open from 13th February 2026 to 1st April 2026. The online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is expected in June 2026.

• Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant) - Pay Level 3
• Nursing Assistant (Veterinary) - Pay Level 3
• Sepoy Pharma - Pay Level 4

Who Can Apply?

For Nursing Assistant / NA (Veterinary):

• You must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) with Science subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
• You need at least 50% marks overall and 40% in each subject
• Age: 17 years 6 months to 23 years

For Sepoy Pharma:

• You must have passed 10+2 plus D.Pharma with 55% marks OR B.Pharma with 50% marks
• You must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of India
• Age: 19 to 25 years

Common requirements for all posts:

• Only unmarried male Indian citizens can apply
• Minimum height: 170 cm (general category)
• Chest: 77 cm with 5 cm expansion

Salary Details

Nursing Assistant / NA (Veterinary):

• Pay Level 3: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month
• Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 5,200 per month extra

Sepoy Pharma:

• Pay Level 4: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month

You will also get Dearness Allowance (about 58%), HRA, Travel Allowance, free medical for family, CSD canteen facility, and pension after retirement.

Selection Process

1. Online CEE (Common Entrance Examination) - Written test
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - Running, pull-ups, ditch jump, zig-zag balance
3. Physical Measurement - Height, weight, chest
4. Medical Examination
5. Adaptability Test
6. Document Verification

Physical Fitness Test Details

• 1.6 km Run: Complete in 5 minutes 30 seconds for full 60 marks
• Pull-ups: 10 pull-ups for full 40 marks
• 9-Foot Ditch Jump: Must clear (qualifying only)
• Zig-Zag Balance: Must clear (qualifying only)

Bonus Marks

You can get up to 20 bonus marks if you have NCC certificate, sports achievements, or are from an ex-servicemen family.

Application Fee

Rs. 250 for all candidates.

Vacancies are available across 12 ZROs: Jabalpur, Chennai, Shillong, Kolkata, Pune, Ambala, Delhi, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Danapur.

• Provide nursing care and first aid to soldiers and army personnel
• Help doctors and medical officers during treatment and surgeries
• Keep records of patient health, medicines, and medical supplies
• Work in army hospitals, field medical units, and health centres
• Handle and care for army animals (NA Veterinary post)
• Prepare and dispense medicines as per doctor's orders (Sepoy Pharma post)
• Maintain medical equipment and keep the medical area clean and safe
• Work in shifts including night duty and during field operations
