Indian Army has released notification for about 25,000 Agniveer posts under the Agnipath Scheme. Categories: GD, Technical, Clerk/SKT and Tradesman. 4-year engagement.

Eligibility

GD: 10th pass, 45% aggregate, 33% each. Age 17.5-21.

Technical: 12th PCM, 50% aggregate OR 10th+ITI/Diploma. Age 17.5-21.

Clerk/SKT: 12th any stream, 60% aggregate, 50% each, 50% in English & Maths. Age 17.5-21.

Tradesman 10th: 10th pass, 33% each. Age 17.5-21.

Tradesman 8th: 8th pass, 33% each. Age 17.5-21.

Must be unmarried Indian citizen.

Salary

• Year 1: Rs. 30,000/month (Rs. 21,000 in-hand)
• Year 2: Rs. 33,000/month (Rs. 23,100 in-hand)
• Year 3: Rs. 36,500/month (Rs. 25,550 in-hand)
• Year 4: Rs. 40,000/month (Rs. 28,000 in-hand)

Seva Nidhi: Rs. 11.71 lakh tax-free after 4 years. Insurance: Rs. 48 lakh life cover.

Physical Standards

• Height: 162-173 cm
• Chest: 77 cm + 5 cm expansion
• Run: 1.6 km under 6:15
• Pull-ups: Min 6
