Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has released an advertisement to fill 1 Project Attendant position in the Physics Department. This is a contractual position under a research project titled "Hybrid Halide Perovskite-Based Dual-Gated Electrochemical Transistors for Switchable Optoelectronics and Neuromorphic Computing", sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The contract is for 1 year, extendable up to 5 years. If you have a UG or PG degree and good computer skills, this is a great opportunity to work in a premier research institute.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a UG (Undergraduate) or PG (Postgraduate) degree from a recognized university.
• Computer Skills: MS Office and computer skills are essential for this role.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Salary

• You will get a salary of Rs. 27,000 per month as basic emolument.
• You will also receive 10% HRA (House Rent Allowance), which comes to Rs. 2,700 per month.
• Total monthly pay: approximately Rs. 29,700.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: You need to appear in person at the HOD's office, Physics Department, IIT Roorkee on 17 April 2026 at 4:00 PM. Carry all your original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
