Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has invited applications for 2 JRF/Project Associate-I positions under the project titled "Brownfield Multi-Vendor 4G/5G Network Optimization", funded by Adavya Networks. The project is based at IIT Mandi's Centre for AI and Robotics in Kamand, Himachal Pradesh, under the guidance of Prof. Dipankar Deb.   • Design and analyze existing 4G/5G telecom networks operating in multi-vendor environments to identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Work on advanced optimization techniques and control strategies for heterogeneous network systems.
  • Develop AI-driven solutions to manage and optimize complex telecom network configurations.
  • Focus on improving network interoperability between equipment from different vendors.
  • Conduct research on data-driven optimization approaches for brownfield telecom deployments.
  • Prepare research documentation, reports, and publications based on project findings.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in day-to-day project activities and milestone deliverables.
