The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi has released a notification to fill 4 Project Staff positions across three roles for its website and ERP development work. This includes 1 Project Business Analyst, 1 Project Engineer-I, and 2 Project Engineer-II posts. Project Business Analyst (Rs. 49,000/month)

• Qualification: MBA / BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Preference for candidates with a degree or experience in Finance, Accounts, or Operations.
• You should know requirement documentation (FRD, BRD, SRS), process mapping (BPMN), SQL queries, and wireframing tools like Figma or draw.io.

Project Engineer-I (Rs. 49,000/month)

• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc (CS/IT) or equivalent with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 1 year in web or enterprise application development.
• You should know frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Vue/Angular), backend (Java Spring Boot or Python Django/FastAPI), databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), REST APIs, and Git.

Project Engineer-II (Rs. 42,000/month) - Freshers Welcome

• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc (CS/IT) or equivalent with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.
• No experience needed - freshers with strong fundamentals can apply.
• You should have basic knowledge of web development, one backend stack (Java/Python/PHP), basic SQL, and Git.

Salary

• Project Business Analyst: Rs. 49,000 per month (consolidated)
• Project Engineer-I: Rs. 49,000 per month (consolidated)
• Project Engineer-II: Rs. 42,000 per month (consolidated)
• The pay is a fixed consolidated amount for the contract period.

Selection Process

Selection is done in these steps:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on the applications submitted in the prescribed format.
2. Interview and/or Written Test / Technical Assessment: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview and/or a written/technical test. The date, time, and mode (online or at IIT BHU) are sent by email.
3. Document Verification: You must bring all original certificates at the time of interview.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or test.

• Prepare requirement documents, process flows, and software specifications for ERP workflows

• Coordinate with end users, developers, and project coordinators to translate needs into solutions
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of web portals and dashboards
• Support deployment of applications on Linux servers and manage version control with Git
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, and gap analysis under guidance
