IIM Shillong Foundation for Incubation and Enterprises (IIMSFIE), a Section 8 company set up by the Indian Institute of Management Shillong to support India's startup ecosystem, has opened applications for 3 professional contract posts — Manager (Incubation) and Assistant Manager (Admin & Accounts). Selected candidates will work on a 3-year professional contract (renewable or extendable) with a 6-month probation period. IIMSFIE is looking for change agents for India's startup ecosystem, especially candidates who understand the Northeastern Region and its startup landscape.

Who Can Apply?

For Manager (Incubation) - Rs. 90,000-1,00,000/month:

• Qualification: A full-time postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related discipline from a nationally recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in industry, related institutions, or the start-up ecosystem.
• Preferred: Prior experience as a startup founder or with a Venture Capital/Angel Investment firm. Understanding of the Northeastern Region and its regional languages will help.

For Assistant Manager (Admin & Accounts) - Rs. 30,000-50,000/month:

• Qualification: A bachelor's degree in any discipline with a proven understanding of routine administrative and accounting/reporting work.
• Preferred: Experience handling accounts and administrative matters in a Section 8 Company or Not-for-Profit organization.

Age Limit

• You should be below 40 years old as on the last date of application submission for both posts.

Salary

• Manager (Incubation): Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (all-inclusive), with annual increment up to 10% and performance-linked incentives.
• Assistant Manager (Admin & Accounts): Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month (all-inclusive), with annual increment up to 10% and performance-based incentives.
