Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) has released Advertisement No. IIMV/NTS-C/2026/01 dated 24.04.2026 for recruitment of contract staff across multiple departments. The notification covers Assistants and Academic Associates (as per requirement), 2 Head Nurse posts, and 2 Assistant Manager (Accounts) posts. Who Can Apply?

For Assistant (Rs. 30,000 / Rs. 35,000):

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in commerce (for Finance & Accounts) or any discipline (for other areas)
• Preferable: Post-Graduate degree in relevant discipline, or CA Inter for Finance & Accounts
• Skills: Multi-tasking, strong English communication, MS Office and data analysis tools

For Academic Associate (Rs. 35,000):

• Essential: Master's Degree in the relevant discipline/Management, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology
• Desirable: PGDM/MBA or Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the relevant discipline

For Head Nurse (Rs. 45,000):

• Essential: B.Sc Nursing or DGNM from a recognised university
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical work as a nurse plus basic computer knowledge
• Desirable: Clinical experience in a Health Centre of an educational institution or emergency services

For Assistant Manager - Accounts (Rs. 45,000):

• Essential: Graduation in Commerce or CA-Inter
• Desirable: PG in Commerce, MBA (Finance) or CA
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in any firm, institute or organisation (including articleship)

Age Limit

• For Assistant and Academic Associate: Not exceeding 30 years as on the last date of application
• For Head Nurse and Assistant Manager (Accounts): Not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules; the Institute may also relax age in deserving cases

Salary

• Assistant: Rs. 30,000 per month (Rs. 35,000 with PG/CA/B.Tech/BE)
• Academic Associate: Rs. 35,000 per month
• Head Nurse: Rs. 45,000 per month
• Assistant Manager (Accounts): Rs. 45,000 per month
• Higher starting pay may be considered for candidates with relevant experience in Higher Educational Institutions
• No other allowances are applicable. Health Insurance covers only the employee as per Institute norms.
• Appointment is on a fixed-term contract of 2 years, extendable based on Institute requirements

Selection Process

The Institute may use one or more of the following stages:

1. Screening and Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, experience and relevant criteria
2. Written Test: May be conducted (online or physical mode)
3. Personal Interview and/or other assessments
4. Document Verification: Self-attested photocopies with originals are checked at the next stage

Important Dates

• Assist authorities in academic, administrative, finance, HR or project-office functions as assigned
• Support faculty in preparing course outlines, teaching notes and reading material
• Provide first aid, emergency care and basic life support at the Institute Health Centre
• Maintain medical records, monitor medicine stock and prepare monthly health reports
• Manage program fee receivables, monitor fee collection cycles and reduce outstanding dues
• Develop a financial risk management framework and ensure compliance with statutory standards
• Coordinate with auditors for Internal and CAG Audits
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Authority or Medical Officer in charge
