IIM Jammu Teaching Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 12 Posts

Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu) has released a notification for 12 Teaching Assistant (Contract) posts under the Non-Faculty Positions cell. The role supports faculty in course design, delivery, and evaluation across the Institute's flagship programs. This is a one-year contract appointment with a chance for extension based on performance and institutional needs. Postgraduates with a management background and proficiency in MS Office are the ideal fit.

Who Can Apply?

Selection Process

Selection is shortlisting and interview based:

  1. Application Screening: The Institute prepares an area-wise merit list based on qualifications, experience, and research credentials. Only papers published in approved journal categories listed in the Web Advertisement are considered.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. Mere fulfilment of the eligibility conditions does not entitle a candidate to be called.
  3. Appointment: Appointment letters are issued as per Institute requirements. The merit list is valid for one year.

Note: Candidates who applied within the last one year need not apply again unless there is substantial addition to their research publications as per IIM Jammu rules.

Responsibilities
