Indian Institute of Information Technology Una (IIIT Una), an Institute of National Importance established under the Ministry of Education by the IIIT (PPP) Act of Parliament No. 23 of 2017, has released Advertisement No. IIITU-NT-2026/01 to 04 for 4 Group A Non-Teaching positions at its campus in Saloh, Una, Himachal Pradesh. Who Can Apply?

For Registrar (Level 14 - Rs 1,44,200/month):

  • Option 1: PG and UG degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, plus a PhD, with 5 years of experience as Professor along with relevant administrative experience.
  • Option 2: PG and UG degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, plus a PhD, with 15 years of experience as Associate Professor along with relevant administrative experience.
  • Option 3: Postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, with 15 years of administrative experience, of which 10 years at Level 12 as per 7th CPC.

Maximum tenure for Registrar is 3 years or until attaining 62 years of age, whichever is earlier.

For Assistant Registrar (Level 10 - Rs 56,100/month):

  • Qualification: Postgraduate degree and UG degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, with excellent academic record.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience at Level 7 as per 7th CPC.
  • Desirable: Professional qualification in Management, Finance and Accounts, or experience in Administrative, Legal, Finance, Stores and Purchase matters.

For Assistant Executive Engineer - Civil (Level 10 - Rs 56,100/month):

  • Option 1: M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA, plus 6 years of experience as Assistant Engineer or equivalent at Level 7.
  • Option 2: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA, plus 8 years of experience as Assistant Engineer or equivalent at Level 7.

For Assistant Physical Education Officer (Level 10 - Rs 56,100/month):

  • Qualification: PG and UG in Physical Education with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience as Sr. Physical Training Instructor or equivalent at Level 7.

Age Limit

  • Registrar: Upper age limit is 55 years as on 11 May 2026.
  • Assistant Registrar: Upper age limit is 50 years as on 11 May 2026.
  • Assistant Executive Engineer: Upper age limit is 50 years as on 11 May 2026.
  • Assistant Physical Education Officer: Upper age limit is 50 years as on 11 May 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: As per applicable Government of India norms for reserved categories.

Salary

  • Registrar: Level 14 — entry pay of Rs 1,44,200 per month (pay range up to Rs 2,18,200).
  • Assistant Registrar: Level 10 — entry pay of Rs 56,100 per month (pay range up to Rs 1,77,500).
  • Assistant Executive Engineer: Level 10 — entry pay of Rs 56,100 per month (pay range up to Rs 1,77,500).
  • Assistant Physical Education Officer: Level 10 — entry pay of Rs 56,100 per month (pay range up to Rs 1,77,500).
  • You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Central Government rules.

For Registrar:

  5. Presentation and Interview: Top 10 candidates shortlisted for a PowerPoint presentation (max 7 slides) and interaction.
