HLL Lifecare Limited is holding a walk-in selection test for SSLC and ITI Trainees at its Peroorkada Factory in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. If you have passed SSLC/VHSE/Plus Two or hold an ITI certificate, you can walk in for the test on 10 July 2026. You should be between 18 and 30 years old as on 1 July 2026. HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), a Mini Ratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is looking for SSLC and ITI qualified candidates for its Training & Development (T&D) Scheme at the Peroorkada Factory in Thiruvananthapuram. HLL is one of India's best-known government manufacturers of contraceptives, medical devices and healthcare products, and the Peroorkada Factory is one of its main production units in Kerala. This is a 3-year training program meant to help you gain hands-on industrial experience on the factory floor and become employable elsewhere. The training does not confer any right to regular employment with HLL. Both SSLC/Plus Two pass and ITI pass candidates can apply under separate trainee categories, each with its own monthly stipend that increases every year of training.

Who Can Apply?

For SSLC Trainees:

• Qualification: SSLC / VHSE / Plus Two Pass
• Stipend: Rs. 9,000 (1st year), Rs. 10,000 (2nd year), Rs. 11,500 (3rd year)

For ITI Trainees:

• Qualification: ITI Pass
• Stipend: Rs. 9,500 (1st year), Rs. 10,500 (2nd year), Rs. 12,000 (3rd year)

You are not eligible if you have already completed a T&D training once with HLL, or if you are considered over-qualified for the trainee post you are applying for. HLL reserves the right to reject over-qualified candidates so that the training slots go to freshers who genuinely need the experience.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 30 years old as on 01 July 2026.
• Reservation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Salary

• SSLC Trainees get a monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000 in the 1st year, rising to Rs. 10,000 in the 2nd year and Rs. 11,500 in the 3rd year.
• ITI Trainees get a monthly stipend of Rs. 9,500 in the 1st year, rising to Rs. 10,500 in the 2nd year and Rs. 12,000 in the 3rd year.
• This is a stipend-based training program, not a regular salaried post — no separate allowances are mentioned in the notification.
• If selected, you must complete a minimum of 1 year of training to be eligible for an Experience Certificate, which can help you find employment elsewhere after the program.

Selection Process

Selection for HLL Lifecare Trainees is done directly through a walk-in test — there is no separate application form or online registration.

1. Walk-in Selection Test: A 30-minute test held from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the venue.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates and ID proof will be checked at the venue.

Note: Selected trainees must be willing to work in shift timings, including night shifts, once training begins.

General Conditions

• Only candidates who report and register before 11:00 AM will be permitted to attend the test.
• Reservation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
• Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Training is for a period of 3 years, which the company may shorten at its discretion, without notice.
• Training will be conducted at HLL Lifecare Ltd, Peroorkada Factory, Thiruvananthapuram.
• If you have already completed T&D training with HLL once before, you cannot apply again.

How to Apply

1. Reach SARGAM Hall, HLL Lifecare Ltd, Peroorkada Factory, Trivandrum-5 on 10 July 2026.
2. Report and register before 11:00 AM — only candidates who register by this time will be permitted to attend the test.
3. The official reporting time is 09:15 AM; the test itself runs from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM.
4. Carry attested photocopies of your certificates, a passport-size photo, and your Aadhaar card (original and copy).
