HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL) runs AMRIT Pharmacies at government hospitals across India to provide medicines at affordable prices to patients. For its RBD Division in Haryana, HLL is now hiring pharmacy professionals across five grades — Assistant Pharmacist and Pharmacist Grade IV to Grade I — based on your years of retail pharmacy experience. Freshers with a D.Pharm/B.Pharm degree can directly apply for the Assistant Pharmacist post, while pharmacists with 2, 4, 6, or 8 years of experience can apply for the higher grades. AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) Pharmacies were set up by the Government of India to sell branded generic medicines, surgical items, and implants to patients at heavily discounted rates compared to open-market prices. Working as a pharmacist at an AMRIT outlet gives you direct, hands-on exposure to hospital pharmacy operations and patient interaction inside a government healthcare setup — useful experience whether you want to build a long-term career in retail pharmacy or later move into hospital or public health roles.

Vacancy Breakdown by Position

• Assistant Pharmacist: D.Pharm/B.Pharm — Freshers can apply
• Pharmacist Grade IV: D.Pharm/B.Pharm with minimum 2 years of post-qualification retail pharmacy experience

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institute
• Experience: 0 to 8 years of post-qualification retail pharmacy experience, depending on the grade you're applying for
• Registration: You must have (or be able to get) a State Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate of Haryana so HLL can obtain the pharmacy license for your outlet
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply
• Note: Only candidates with the relevant qualification and experience will be allowed to sit for the written test — check the eligibility criteria carefully before you travel to the venue

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 37 years as on 1 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get age relaxation as per Government of India directives.
• The same cut-off date used for age is also used to calculate your qualification and post-qualification experience.

Selection Process

The selection for Pharmacist (Grade IV to Grade I) and Assistant Pharmacist posts happens in 2 stages:

1. Written Test: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 50 marks, to be completed in 30 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers, and you need at least 35% marks to qualify.
2. Interview: Candidates who clear the written test are interviewed on the same day at the same venue.

HLL reserves the right to cancel, restrict, or modify the selection process, or choose not to fill any or all posts, at its discretion.

4. Carry original certificates and self-attested copies for age, qualification, mark sheets, experience, latest salary certificate with break-up, Aadhaar, PAN, and recent passport-size photographs.
5. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must also bring their original community certificate issued by the concerned Revenue Authority.
6. Attend the written test, followed by the interview, on the same day.
