RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No. 10/2026 for 1 Senior Manager/Tech post at the E-3 level in its Kolkata / Eastern Region office. This is a re-employment opportunity open only to retired or resigned Railway and Railway PSU officers with a strong background in IP video surveillance and network infrastructure. Who Can Apply?

• Eligibility: You must be retired or resigned from Railways at the Junior Scale (Level 10, CDA) or Group 'B' (Level 9), or currently a serving Level-8 employee. Retired or resigned employees from a Railway PSU at E-3 level and above can also apply.
• Experience: You should have hands-on experience in planning, deployment, commissioning, operation and maintenance of large-scale IP video surveillance network infrastructure.
• Technical Skills: You need working knowledge of IP cameras, L2/L3 switches, NVR/VA/FRS servers, workstations, UPS, LAN, EMS and NMS systems.
• Networking Skills: Experience in MPLS VPN, enterprise IP networks, and network security (TCP/IP, VLAN, MAC-IP binding) is required.
• Additional Requirement: You should be able to integrate and monitor large-scale VSS (Video Surveillance System) infrastructure and coordinate multi-vendor AMC/O&M activities.

Age Limit

• You should be below 62 years of age as on the closing date of the application.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in the Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month range under the E-3 (Senior Manager) IDA pay scale.
• You will also get DPE-approved allowances as per RailTel's terms and conditions for re-employment.
