Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Schedule-A Miniratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise, has released Advertisement No. Estt./1/2033/2025-26 dated 16 May 2026 inviting online applications from Indian nationals for 70 Executive posts. Vacancies are spread across 15 disciplines — Mining, Geology, Environment Management, Safety & Fire Services, Concentrator (Mineral Processing), Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil, Systems, Medical & Health Services (M&HS), HR, Finance, Corporate Communication, and Materials & Contracts. Mining (E-2 / E-4):

• E-2: Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering. Preferred: First Class Mine Manager's Certificate (Unrestricted).
• E-4: Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering with First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) under Metalliferous Mines Regulations.

Geology (E-2 / E-3):

• Post-Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.

Environment Management (E-2):

• Bachelor's in Environment Engineering / Technology, OR Bachelor's in Engineering with PG Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Management / Science.

Safety & Fire Services (E-2):

• Bachelor's in Engineering / Technology with PG Degree / Diploma in Safety Engineering Management, OR B.Tech in Safety / Fire Engineering.

Concentrator / Mineral Processing (E-2):

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering or Mineral Engineering.

Electrical (E-2 / E-3):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology (Electrical).

Instrumentation (E-3):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology (Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication).

Mechanical (E-2 / E-3 / E-4):

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery.

Civil (E-2):

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Systems (E-2):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology (IT / Computer Science) or MCA. Preferred: knowledge of Oracle EBS R12, Oracle DB, MS SQL, MySQL, PHP, .Net, Java, network setup.

Medical & Health Services (E-3 / E-4):

• MBBS with PG Diploma, OR MBBS with PG Degree / MS / MD / DNB.

HR (E-4):

• Bachelor's in Arts / Commerce / Science / Engineering / Professional Studies with MBA (Personnel Mgmt) or PG Degree / Diploma in Personnel Mgmt / Social Work.

Finance (E-2 / E-3 / E-4):

• Passed final exam of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA).

Corporate Communication (E-2):

• Bachelor's in Arts / Commerce / Science / Engineering with PG Degree / Diploma in Public Relations / Journalism.

Materials & Contracts (E-2 / E-4):

• Bachelor's in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering with PG Degree / Diploma in Materials Mgmt / SCM / Logistics, OR MBA in Materials Mgmt / SCM / Logistics.

Maximum age and post-qualification experience as on the date of reckoning 01-05-2026:

• E-4 Senior Manager: Max age 47 years, post-qualification experience 9 years
• E-3 Manager: Max age 42 years, post-qualification experience 6 years
• E-2 Deputy Manager: Max age 40 years, post-qualification experience 3 years
• M&HS Cadre E-4: Max age 48 years (8 yrs experience with PG Diploma / 5 yrs with PG Degree)
• M&HS Cadre E-3: Max age 44 years (5 yrs experience with PG Diploma / 2 yrs with PG Degree)

Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PWD – General / EWS: 10 years
• PWD – OBC (NCL): 13 years
• PWD – SC / ST: 15 years

Salary

• E-4 Senior Manager: Scale of pay Rs. 70,000 – 2,00,000 (IDA). Monthly gross salary: Rs. 1,30,760. Approx CTC: Mining Rs. 24.64 – 68.74 lakhs; Non-Mining Rs. 23.23 – 64.37 lakhs.
• E-3 Manager: Scale of pay Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000 (IDA). Monthly gross: Rs. 1,12,080. Approx CTC: Mining Rs. 21.20 – 61.90 lakhs; Non-Mining Rs. 20.11 – 57.98 lakhs.
• E-2 Deputy Manager: Scale of pay Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA). Monthly gross: Rs. 93,400. Approx CTC: Mining Rs. 17.76 – 55.07 lakhs; Non-Mining Rs. 16.85 – 51.58 lakhs.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Personal Interview (100% weightage) — final selection decided purely on PI performance.
2. Zone of Consideration: 1:5 ratio (5 candidates per vacancy). If only 1 vacancy in a discipline, 10 candidates shortlisted.
3. Shortlisting Criteria (if applications exceed zone of consideration):
   • 1 mark for every completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement
   • 1 mark per additional higher qualification (max 2 marks) over the minimum, in the same discipline
   • Tie-breaker: higher company turnover ranks higher
4. Medical Fitness — appointment is subject to being found medically fit by HCL Medical Authority.
5. Document Verification — original documents verified at the time of interview; non-production debars candidate.

Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates must serve HCL for a minimum of 3 years and execute a bond of Rs. 3 lakhs at the time of joining.

• Lead operations and engineering functions in the assigned discipline (Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.) at HCL units
• Manage production, processing or maintenance schedules at copper mines and plants
• Supervise junior executives, supervisors and contractor workforce on technical and administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with statutory mining, safety, environment and labour regulations
• Prepare technical reports, financial statements, audit responses and management updates as per the cadre
• Drive cost optimisation, productivity improvement and project execution in line with HCL's strategic plan
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, government agencies and consultants for project delivery
• Support digital, IT and welfare initiatives within the company as per the assigned function
