The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) has released advertisement no. 06/2026-27 for 420 Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male) Class-III posts across rural health centres in Gujarat. The original notification was published on 29 April 2026, and the detailed exam syllabus was released on 12 May 2026. Selection is through a single 200-mark MCQ-based competitive exam conducted in Gujarati and English. Candidates with a 12th Science background and MPHW (Male) training certificate can apply through the OJAS portal.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 12th Standard with Science stream from a recognised board.
• Training: You must hold a Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male) Training Certificate from a recognised institute.

Salary

Selection Process

The selection will be done through a single-stage competitive exam:

1. Written Exam (OMR/MCQ Based) - 200 Marks: Single paper covering General Awareness, Gujarati Grammar, English, Mathematics & Reasoning, and Technical Knowledge.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for original document verification.

The exam will have the following subject-wise breakdown:

• General Awareness and General Knowledge: 35 marks (Gujarati medium)
• Gujarati Grammar: 20 marks
• English Language and Grammar: 20 marks
• General Mathematics, Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 25 marks
• Technical Knowledge (MPHW specific): 100 marks
