Who Can Apply?

For Associate Professor - Anatomy

• Qualification: M.D. (Anatomy), M.S. (Anatomy), DNB (Anatomy), MBBS with M.Sc (Anatomy), M.Sc (Med. Anatomy) with Ph.D (Med. Anatomy), or M.Sc (Med. Anatomy) with D.Sc (Med. Anatomy)
• Experience: 4 years as Assistant Professor in the subject at a recognized medical college
• Publications: At least 2 research publications in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.)
• Additional: Basic course in Medical Education Technology + Basic course in Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions

For Associate Professor - Pharmacology

• Qualification: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Pharmacology, DNB (Pharmacology), or Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Pharmacology)
• Experience & other requirements: Same as above (4 years as Assistant Professor, 2 publications, MET & Biomedical Research courses)

For Associate Professor - Psychiatry

• Qualification: M.D. (Psychiatry), M.D. Psychological Medicine, M.D. in Medicine with Diploma in Psychological Medicine, or DNB (Psychiatry)
• Experience & other requirements: Same as above

For Assistant Professor - Anatomy

• Qualification: M.S./M.D. (Anatomy), MBBS with M.Sc. (Anatomy)/M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) with Ph.D., Medical Anatomy with D.Sc., Medical Anatomy/DNB
• Experience: 1 year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college after acquiring MD/MS

For Assistant Professor - Community Medicine

• Qualification: M.D. Social and Preventive Medicine, M.D. Community Medicine, or DNB
• Experience: 1 year as Senior Resident after MD/MS

For Assistant Professor - Biochemistry

• Qualification: M.D. (Biochemistry), MBBS with M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry), M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry with Ph.D. Medical (Medical Biochemistry), M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry with D.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry), or DNB
• Experience: 1 year as Senior Resident after MD/MS

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 70 years (for contractual appointment)
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Maharashtra Government rules

Salary

• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,50,000 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• Note: These are fixed contractual payments. No separate DA, HRA, or other allowances are payable.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection is based on a walk-in interview only. There is no written exam.
