ESIC Hospital Vapi Contractual Specialist Recruitment 2026 — 5 Posts

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Vapi, Valsad District, Gujarat, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has announced a walk-in interview for Contractual Specialist posts to be held on 22 April 2026. ESIC Vapi provides medical care to insured workers and their families in the Vapi industrial region of South Gujarat. There is no written exam — selection is entirely based on the walk-in interview. The contract is for one year on a full-time or part-time basis.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university or institution
• Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council
• Experience (PG Degree holder): Minimum 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring the PG Degree
• Experience (PG Diploma holder): Minimum 5 years of experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring the PG Diploma
• If no PG candidate is available: MBBS graduates with at least 2 years of experience (including at least 1 year in a government or private hospital — not a private clinic) in the relevant specialty may be considered. Priority will always be given to PG degree/diploma holders.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 69 years as on the date of interview (22 April 2026)
• Age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Central Government / ESIC norms

Salary

• Consolidated pay: Rs. 1,31,067 per month (fixed, inclusive of Transport Allowance with DA at current rates)
• The salary includes all allowances — no separate HRA or city compensatory allowance
• Salary may be revised as per ESIC HQ Office Orders from time to time
• No claim for PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or regular service benefits

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a direct walk-in interview — no written test is conducted.

1. Registration & Document Verification: Report at ESIC Hospital Vapi between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 22 April 2026. Candidates arriving after 11:00 AM will not be registered.
2. Walk-in Interview: A face-to-face interview conducted by the selection panel at the hospital. Priority is given to PG Degree/Diploma holders over other candidates.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be declared medically fit before joining.

Note: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview. You must arrange your own travel and accommodation.

• Conduct OPD consultations and IPD management for patients in your assigned specialty at ESIC Hospital Vapi
• Perform procedures, surgeries, and clinical interventions as required in Orthopaedics, Radiology, Gynaecology, ENT, or General Medicine
• Assist senior consultants and the Medical Superintendent in clinical decision-making and complex cases
• Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, discharge summaries, and investigation reports
• Follow ESIC hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines
• Handle emergency cases in the concerned specialty and coordinate with other departments when required
• Guide and supervise junior medical staff and residents working in the department
