The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic Sri Ganganagar & Hanumangarh, under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an employment notice for 8 contractual posts across its two polyclinics in Rajasthan. These posts are meant to provide healthcare and support services to ex-servicemen and their dependents. Both medical and non-medical staff are needed, making this a good opportunity for MBBS/BDS graduates, GNM nurses, D Pharma holders, and even 8th pass candidates for the Driver post. Note that the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) post is reserved exclusively for Ex-Servicemen (ESM).

Who Can Apply?

Medical/Officer Posts

• Officer-in-Charge (OIC): Graduate degree with at least 5 years of experience. This post is reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) only.
• Medical Officer: MBBS degree with at least 5 years of post-internship experience.
• Dental Officer: BDS degree with at least 3 years of post-internship experience.

Paramedical Posts

• Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharma) + registered with the Pharmacy Council + at least 3 years of experience.
• Nursing Assistant: GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) + at least 5 years of experience.
• Dental Hygienist/Assistant: Diploma in Dental Hygiene or related field + at least 5 years of experience.

Non-Medical Posts

• Ambulance Driver: Passed 8th class + valid driving licence + at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Female Attendant: Literate + minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Only female candidates can apply for this post.

Preference is given to Ex-Servicemen and their dependents who hold Armed Forces-equivalent qualifications for paramedical posts.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 53 years for most posts (as per ECHS norms)
• Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for reserved categories
• Ex-Servicemen will get age relaxation as per applicable government orders

Salary

• Officer-in-Charge / Medical Officer / Dental Officer: Rs. 95,000 per month (fixed contractual remuneration)
• Pharmacist / Nursing Assistant / Dental Hygienist/Assistant: Rs. 36,500 per month
• Ambulance Driver: Rs. 25,600 per month
• Female Attendant: Rs. 21,800 per month
• These are fixed contractual rates — no additional allowances beyond what is stated in the terms and conditions on the official application form.

Selection Process

There is no written exam. Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened based on educational qualification and experience
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview. Date will be intimated separately.
