Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need MD/MS/DNB in the concerned speciality from a recognized university.
• For Chest Department: MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine, Chest Medicine, or Respiratory Medicine is also accepted.
• Registration: You must have a valid NMC / State Medical Council registration.
• Awaiting Result: If you are awaiting your final result, you can still apply — but you must produce the passing certificate before the interview.
• Eligibility Cut-off Date: Your qualifying degree and experience must be completed by 17 April 2026.

Age Limit

• Age limit is as per NMC norms as on 17 April 2026.
• SC/ST: Upper age relaxable by 5 years.
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age relaxable by 3 years.
• Reservations for PH (Divyangjan) candidates will be as per Government rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed basic pay of Rs. 67,700 per month (Pay Level 11, 7th CPC).
• You will also get other allowances as admissible.
• Note: This is a contractual position. Benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, and Seniority are not applicable.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing at the walk-in interview.

Selection Process

Selection is through a single-stage walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Selection will be made on the basis of your academic credentials, documents, and performance in the interview before the Selection Board.
2. Document Verification: All original documents will be verified at the time of walk-in. No candidate will be allowed without verification of original documents.

Result will be displayed on www.mcpatna.esic.gov.in and www.esic.gov.in (under Recruitment Section). Offer of appointment will be sent through email.

How to Apply

1. Download and fill the Application Form available with the official advertisement.
2. Get a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 (if applicable) from any bank in favour of ESIC Hospital Bihta SB ACC-2, payable at SBI Bihta.
3. Collect all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
4. Get a NOC from your current employer (if working in Govt/Autonomous/Statutory institution). If NOC is not available, carry an “Applied for NOC” copy.
5. Get a Relieving Letter from your current employer before joining.
6. Report at College Council Room, College Building, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna – 801103 between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 17 April 2026.
7. Applications received after 11:00 AM will not be accepted.

• Handle patient care duties in the assigned department including OPD, IPD, and emergency services
• Assist senior faculty and consultants during clinical rounds, procedures, and surgeries
• Manage Medical ICU, Respiratory ICU, Dialysis Unit, or Casualty duties as assigned (for General Medicine)
• Work in Trauma Care Ward and Surgical ICU on rotational basis (for General Surgery)
• Perform compulsory on-site duty in Casualty following the schedule prepared by Hospital Administration
• Keep proper records of patient history, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Follow all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and mark attendance on Aadhaar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily
