Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Jaisalmer Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

The Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Jaisalmer, under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an Employment Notice to engage 4 staff members on a contractual basis at the ECHS Polyclinic, Jaisalmer. The engagement is for a period of one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and 11 months for civilian candidates. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen. These posts are ideal for people living in and around Jaisalmer who want a government health-scheme job with a fixed monthly salary.

Who Can Apply?

Pharmacist

• Qualification: B. Pharmacy, or 10+2 in Science stream (PCB) with a Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years.

Lab Technician

• Qualification: DMLT, or a Class-I Lab Technician Course (Armed Forces).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years.

Clerk

• Qualification: Graduate, or Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years.

Peon

• Qualification: 8th Class pass, or GD Trade from the Armed Forces.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years.

Salary

• Pharmacist: Rs. 36,500 per month (fixed)
• Lab Technician: Rs. 36,500 per month (fixed)
• Clerk: Rs. 29,200 per month (fixed)
• Peon: Rs. 21,800 per month (fixed)

This is a fixed monthly remuneration. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

1. Application Screening: Only candidates who meet the qualification and experience requirements will be shortlisted.
2. Interview: The interview date, time and venue are intimated by phone only to eligible candidates. It will be held at Stn HQ ECHS Cell, AF Station, Jaisalmer between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM.
3. Document Verification: Bring all original certificates — 10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation/PG/Diploma, experience proof, Discharge Book and PPO (for ESM), service records and 2 passport-size colour photos.
4. On-Job Training: Selected candidates must complete 10 days of on-job training (OJT) without pay before signing the employment contract.
