ECHS Station Headquarters Gopalpur Recruitment 2026 - 9 Posts

The ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters Gopalpur (under the Ministry of Defence) has released an employment notice to fill 9 contractual vacancies across two ECHS Polyclinics - Brahmapur and Bhawanipatna. The engagement runs for one year for Ex-Servicemen and 11 months for civilians, and can be renewed based on your performance. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen candidates for all posts.

Who Can Apply?

Medical Specialist (Rs. 1,30,000/month)

• Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned specialty, or DNB.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in the specialty after post-graduation.

Medical Officer (Rs. 95,000/month)

• Qualification: MBBS. An additional qualification in Medicine or Surgery is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years after internship.

Dental Officer (Rs. 95,000/month)

• Qualification: BDS.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience.

Pharmacist (Rs. 36,500/month)

• Qualification: B.Pharmacy, or 10+2 with Science (PCB) plus an approved Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years.

Nursing Assistant (Rs. 36,500/month)

• Qualification: GNM Diploma, or Class-1 Nursing Assistants Course (Armed Forces).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years.

Dental Technician / Hygienist (Rs. 36,500/month)

• Qualification: Diploma in Dental Hygiene, or Class-1 DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a dental laboratory.

Chowkidar (Rs. 21,800/month)

• Qualification: 8th Class pass, or GD trade for Armed Forces personnel.

Age Limit

• The maximum age for engagement depends on the post: Medical Specialist up to 68 years, Medical Officer up to 66, Dental Officer up to 63, and Pharmacist, Nursing Assistant and Dental Technician up to 56 years. Chowkidar is up to 53 years.
• Contractual service can continue up to 70 years for Medical Specialist (and correspondingly for other posts), subject to your performance.
• Ex-Servicemen are given preference across all posts.

Salary

• Medical Specialist: Rs. 1,30,000 per month.
• Medical Officer / Dental Officer: Rs. 95,000 per month.
• Pharmacist / Nursing Assistant / Dental Technician: Rs. 36,500 per month.
• Chowkidar: Rs. 21,800 per month.
• These are fixed monthly payments under the contractual engagement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Reach Station Headquarters Gopalpur at 8:00 AM on 6 August 2026. Interviews run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
2. Document Verification: Carry all original certificates, mark sheets, PG/Diploma certificates, discharge book, PPO, service records, Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview. Only candidates who meet the required qualifications should apply.
