The State Rural Employment Society - District Implementing Division (SRES-DID) under the Community & Rural Development Department, Government of Meghalaya, is hiring for the East Garo Hills district. This role supports the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G) programme at the district level. The contract is for 1 year, extendable based on your performance. Only residents of Meghalaya can apply for this position.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: BCA / BE / B.Tech in Computer or any other equivalent qualification
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in related fields
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Meghalaya

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Salary

• Starting Fixed Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month

Selection Process

The selection will be done in two stages:

1. Computer Skill Test — This will be held on 22 April 2026 at the MGNREGS Cell, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar. Only shortlisted candidates will receive a TA/DA for attending.
2. Personal Interview — The date for the interview will be announced later. Only candidates who clear the skill test will be called.

• Handle all IT-related tasks and maintain computer systems at the district SBM-G office

• Monitor data entry and ensure accurate records on the SBM-G online portal
• Assist the Deputy Commissioner and DRDA officials with IT support and data management
• Keep track of programme expenditures, receipts, and audit documentation
• Work with block-level officers to collect and verify sanitation-related data
