DNH Sports Council Coach & Trainer Recruitment 2026 - 6 Posts

The Administration of the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Sports Council, Silvassa (Advertisement No. ADM/SC/HHS-II/2025-26/41 dated 19/05/2026) has invited applications for 6 contractual posts covering coaching, ground maintenance and gym training. This is an offline recruitment — you have to submit a hard copy by Registered/Speed Post and also email a scanned copy. Both freshers with the right certification and experienced coaches with State or National medals can apply.

Vacancy Breakdown

• Table Tennis Coach: 1 post — Rs. 25,000/month (full time) or Rs. 12,000/month (3-hour daily part time)
• Skating Coach: 1 post — Rs. 25,000/month (full time) or Rs. 12,000/month (part time)
• Basketball Coach: 1 post — Rs. 25,000/month (full time) or Rs. 12,000/month (part time)
• Assistant Cricket Coach: 1 post — Rs. 25,000/month
• Groundsman / Pitch Curator: 1 post — Rs. 16,400/month
• Gymnasium Trainer (Male): 1 post — Rs. 15,000/month

Who Can Apply?

Table Tennis / Skating / Basketball / Assistant Cricket Coach

• Qualification: Diploma or 6-week coaching course from NS/NIS, SAI or other recognised Indian/foreign university, OR a Level-1 certified course from the respective national federation (Table Tennis Federation of India / Roller Skating Federation of India / Basketball Federation of India / Cricket Federation of India or BCCI), OR a State/National Level Medal in the sport.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of coaching experience.

Groundsman / Pitch Curator

• Qualification: 12th Pass.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical experience in plant care, outdoor equipment, soil science and cricket-specific pitch preparation.

Gymnasium Trainer (Male)

• Qualification: 12th Pass and certified courses in basic personal training, advanced exercise personal training, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, and exercise programme & practical.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a gym trainer in a reputed gym or fitness centre.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi and English.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 40 years old.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST and OBC candidates.

Salary

• Table Tennis, Skating, Basketball, Assistant Cricket Coach: Rs. 25,000 per month (full time) or Rs. 12,000 per month (part time, daily 3-hour session)
• Groundsman / Pitch Curator: Rs. 16,400 per month
• Gymnasium Trainer (Male): Rs. 15,000 per month
• All posts are consolidated pay on a contract basis. No DA, HRA or extra allowances.

Selection Process

Selection happens in 2 simple stages — there is no written exam:

1. Short-listing of Applications: The Sports Council screens applications and shortlists candidates based on qualification, certification, experience and sports achievements.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. The final selection is based on interview performance and document verification.

1. Download the application form from www.dnh.gov.in or www.ddd.gov.in.
2. Fill the form in block letters by hand and paste a coloured passport photo in the box. Keep one extra photo attached.
3. Self-attest copies of all educational certificates, experience proofs, sports achievement certificates, Aadhaar, address proof and date of birth proof.
4. Put everything in a C4 (229 × 324 mm) envelope — do not fold the papers. Super-scribe the envelope as “Application for the post in Sports Council, DNH” and mention your name, address and contact number at the bottom-right.
5. Send the envelope by Registered Post or Speed Post only to: Office of the Secretary, Sports Council, Farmer Training Centre, Dokmardi, Silvassa, DNH – 396230.
6. Also email the scanned filled application with enclosures to dnhsportsyouthaffairs@gmail.com.
7. Your application must reach the office by 02 June 2026.

• Train players in your sport — Table Tennis, Skating, Basketball or Cricket — at the Sports Council, Silvassa
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly coaching schedules for beginners and advanced players
• Prepare athletes for district, state and national level tournaments
• Assess player fitness, technique and progress and keep coaching records
• Maintain sports equipment and ensure safe use during practice sessions
• Prepare cricket pitches and grounds, manage soil, water and turf care (Groundsman/Curator)
• Conduct gym training sessions, design workout plans and ensure member safety (Gym Trainer)
• Assist the Sports Council in organising tournaments, coaching camps and outreach activities
