The Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) has released notification number एन.एच.एम./संविदा भर्ती/2026-27/414 dated 14-05-2026 for contractual recruitment to 332 vacant posts under the approved ROP 2025-26 of NHM Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts. The recruitment covers 22 different post categories including Nursing Officer / Staff Nurse, ANM, Medical Officer (AYUSH), Rural Medical Assistant (RMA), Pharmacist, Community Health Officer, Counselor, Radiographer, Dental Assistant, Social Worker, MPW, Senior Treatment Supervisor and others. The recruitment is purely contractual under NHM's Human Resource Policy 2018.

For ANM (2nd):

• 12th passed AND ANM Passed from INC affiliated Training Centre, with live registration in Chhattisgarh Nursing Council

For MO - AYUSH:

• BHMS / BAMS / BUMS Degree with registration from a Government of India recognised AYUSH (Ayurveda / Homeo / Unani) Registration board

For Rural Medical Assistant (RMA):

• Practitioner in Modern And Holistic Medicine (PMHM) course passed AND registration with Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal is mandatory

For Community Health Officer (CHO):

• B.Sc Nursing Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course, with live registration in Chhattisgarh Nursing Council

For Pharmacist:

• B.Pharma OR D.Pharma with live registration in Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Council

For Other Posts:

• District Account Assistant / Block Manager: B.Com (minimum 55%) + 1 year Computer Diploma (PGDCA) + knowledge of Tally

• MPW (Male) - UHWC: 12th passed Biology + 1 year MPW training + Chhattisgarh Paramedical Council registration
• Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS): Bachelor's Degree OR Sanitary Inspectors course + 2-month Computer course + 2-wheeler licence
• Social Worker: M.Phil Psychiatric Social Work preferred; otherwise Master of Social Work (Regular)
• Attendant (HA/SA): 12th Pass
• Class IV / Aya / Bai / Cook cum Caretaker: 8th Class Pass

Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. Domicile certificate from a competent authority is mandatory.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 70 years for Medical posts (MO-AYUSH etc.); 64 years for Management / Officer posts

Salary

• MO - AYUSH / Audiologist: Rs. 25,000 per month (highest)
• Rural Medical Assistant / Social Worker: Rs. 22,000 per month
• Block Manager - Account: Rs. 21,000 per month
• District Account Assistant / Physiotherapist: Rs. 18,000 per month
• Senior Treatment Supervisor: Rs. 17,500 per month
• Nursing Officer / Community Health Officer / Pharmacist: Rs. 16,500 per month
• City Accountant / Staff Nurse: Rs. 16,000 per month
• Radiographer: Rs. 15,000 per month
• OT Technician / Dental Assistant / MPW: Rs. 14,000 per month
• Secretarial Assistant: Rs. 13,650 per month
• ANM / Counselor / Feeding Demonstrator: Rs. 12,000 per month
• Attendant / Class IV / Aya / Cook: Rs. 8,800 per month

This is a lumpsum monthly honorarium under NHM Chhattisgarh ROP. No other allowances are payable beyond this.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a merit-based scoring system. The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Online Application Scrutiny: The applications and uploaded documents will be scrutinized. The provisional eligible / ineligible list is published on rajnandgaon.nic.in.
2. Document Verification: Eligible candidates are called for document verification — number of candidates is 10x (1-10 posts), 5x (11-50 posts) or 3x (more than 50 posts) of the advertised vacancies.
3. Skill Test / Written Test (20 marks): Candidates must score at least 30% (6 marks) to remain eligible. Computer skill test is conducted for computer-related posts.
4. Final Merit: Based on Educational Qualification (65% marks) + Skill/Written Test (20 marks) + Experience (10/15 marks). Final marks total 100.

Bonus marks: NHM Chhattisgarh experience earns 3 marks per year (max 15 marks for 5 years). Other government / aided institution experience earns 2 marks per year (max 10 marks). COVID-19 service in DMF / NHM earns up to 10 bonus marks.

• Provide healthcare services at primary health centres, sub-centres and community health centres in Rajnandgaon district
• Handle patient care, nursing duties and emergency response in assigned facility (Nursing / ANM / CHO)
• Diagnose and treat patients in OPD and field outreach camps (MO-AYUSH / RMA)
• Maintain stock and dispense medicines following Drug Schedule rules (Pharmacist)
• Perform diagnostic imaging, dental procedures and laboratory work (Radiographer / Dental Assistant / OT Technician)
• Conduct community outreach, counselling and health education sessions (Counselor / Social Worker / MPW)
• Manage NHM accounts, financial records and Tally entries (Block Manager / District Account Assistant / City Accountant)
• Follow NHM Human Resource Policy 2018 and report to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Rajnandgaon
