DLSA Vikarabad Steno/Typist Recruitment 2026: Overview

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Vikarabad in Telangana is filling a Steno/Typist post in its Vikarabad unit through direct recruitment. This is a regular post filled under the service rules of the Telangana State Legal Services Authority and the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, and it is covered by the contributory pension scheme (CPS). Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local language: You cannot be appointed unless you know the language or languages of the district well.
• Lower Grade certificates: If no Higher Grade certificate is available, the Lower Grade in English for shorthand or typewriting is considered.
• Qualification cut-off: You must hold every required qualification on the date the notification was published.

• Character and health: You must be an Indian citizen of sound health and good character; anyone dismissed from government service or convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude cannot apply.
• No travel allowance: No TA or DA is paid for the exam, certificate verification or interview.
• Vacancy changes: The Chairman can increase or reduce the posts or cancel the notification at any stage without giving a reason.

Fill the application in the prescribed proforma and send it only by Registered Post or Courier to The Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, District Court Premises, Vikarabad. Write "Application for the Post of Steno-Typist" on the cover. Hand delivery is not accepted.

Pay the fee by Demand Draft in favour of "The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Vikarabad", payable at Vikarabad, and attach a self-addressed long envelope with Rs. 75 postage stamps plus three passport-size colour photos.
