This recruitment drive is based on Allahabad High Court Circular No. 14/Admin D Section/Allahabad dated 15.10.2022. The Office of the District Judge (Administrative Section), Kanpur Nagar is inviting applications from retired court employees for re-appointment on vacant positions. The appointment is on a contractual basis for 1 year or until a regular appointment or promotion is made, whichever comes first. Candidates must be below 65 years of age at the time of completing their tenure.

• Retired employees of District Court Kanpur Nagar who held the same or equivalent post before retirement
• Retired employees from other district courts in Uttar Pradesh — you need to attach self-certified copies of your last 5 years' Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) along with the application
• You must have no criminal case pending against you
• You must be physically fit to carry out the duties of the post

Important: Retired employees of District Court Kanpur Nagar who retired after 31 March 2026 will be notified through the Central Notice Board of the court.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 65 years — you must not have completed 65 years of age at the time your re-appointment tenure ends

Salary

• Your salary will be the principal amount of your last pay drawn minus the pension amount you receive
• This means your total monthly payment = Last Pay Drawn − Pension
• This applies equally to all posts — Senior Assistant, Peon, Chowkidar, and all other positions
