About This Job

The Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Gurugram has invited applications for 36 Peon/Additional Peon posts on a purely ad-hoc basis. The initial appointment is for six months or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier. The advertisement was published in newspapers “The Statesman” and “Dainik Jagran (Hindi)” on 04 February 2026. Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following stages:

  1. Personal Interview: Eligible candidates are called to the Judicial Court Complex, Main Building, Gate No. 3, near Rajeev Chowk, Sohna Road, Gurugram. Report at 11:30 AM; interview starts from 2:00 PM. No separate call letters are issued — candidates must check the official website for their roll number and date. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
  2. Document Verification: Bring original certificates for education, age, caste/reservation, and photo identity proof, along with one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of interview.

Responsibilities

  • Carry and deliver files, dak (official mail), and documents within the court premises
  • Assist judicial officers and court staff with day-to-day clerical support as directed
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the assigned court room or office area
  • Run official errands within the court complex as instructed by the supervising officer
  • Assist during court sittings by arranging records, files, and case papers as needed
  • Follow court discipline norms and adhere to reporting timings strictly
