DLSA Balaghat Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh) has released a notification for contractual recruitment to the post of Vehicle Driver for its official vehicle. The recruitment is being conducted as per directions from the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur (letter No. 337/Stha./Ravisevpra/126/26, dated 09.04.2026). This is a contractual post — the initial contract period is 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on satisfactory performance. Candidates who are Madhya Pradesh domicile holders, aged 18 to 40 years, and can drive all types of vehicles are eligible to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed High School (Class 10 / Matriculation) from a recognised board.
• Driving Skill: You must be proficient in driving all types of vehicles.
• Driving Licence: You must hold a valid driving licence in your own name.
• Physical Fitness: You must be physically fit for the role.
• Character: You must not have any criminal conviction. A self-attested character certificate must be submitted with the application.
• Domicile: You must be a resident (mool niwasi) of Madhya Pradesh.

Age Limit

• You must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026.
• Age proof must be the High School marksheet or certificate clearly mentioning your date of birth.

Salary

• Fixed monthly pay: Rs. 12,000 per month
• Note: No other allowance of any kind will be paid in addition to the fixed monthly pay.
• This is a contractual post — there is no entitlement to regularisation or permanent service after the contract period.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a transparent and merit-based process in 2 stages:

1. Personal Interview: Conducted by a committee formed by the Principal District & Sessions Judge / Chairman, DLSA Balaghat.
2. Practical Driving Test: A hands-on driving test to assess your vehicle-handling skills.

The committee's decision will be final. If two candidates score equally, the older candidate will be given preference. The date and schedule for the interview and driving test will be displayed on the office notice board separately.
