Preparation Tips for DG EME Group C Exam
- The exam has 3 different patterns depending on your post — check your specific pattern from the notification PDF
- For technical posts (Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Armament Mechanic), 50 out of 150 questions are trade-specific — focus heavily on your trade subject
- For non-technical posts (Cook, Barber, MTS, Tradesman Mate), General Intelligence and General Awareness carry 50 marks each — give them more time
- Practice previous year DG EME and Army civilian recruitment papers for question style
- You get about 48 seconds per question — take mock tests to build speed
- Negative marking of 0.25 means avoid random guessing — attempt only if you are reasonably sure
