Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is hiring 5 senior officers on Immediate Absorption Basis. If you are a regular officer working in Central/State Government departments, PSUs, or autonomous bodies, you can apply for General Manager and Deputy General Manager posts. Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is a Schedule 'A' Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, building high-capacity, high-speed rail freight corridors across India. The company has released Advertisement No. 01/2026/IA for 5 posts — three at General Manager (E-8) level and two at Deputy General Manager (E-5) level. The earlier Junior Manager posts (one in Law and four in Finance) under this advertisement stand cancelled.

Who Can Apply?

You must be a regular officer in a Central/State Government department, Subordinate/Attached Office, Autonomous body (audited by C&AG), Central PSU, or a Joint Venture with minimum 50% Central Government stake. You also need at least 3 years of APARs for the preceding years.

General Manager (Mechanical)

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Extensive Railway Mechanical Engineering experience at Workshop/Division levels, with expertise in Carriage & Wagon (C&W) maintenance.

General Manager (Safety)

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline (or relevant graduation for Operating department officers).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in the Safety Department of Indian Railways, DFCCIL, or other railway PSUs.

General Manager (Law)

  • Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor's degree in Law with at least 50% marks. Distance/part-time/correspondence degrees are not eligible.
  • Experience: Handling arbitration, conciliation, drafting, vetting, and litigation matters.

Deputy General Manager (IT)

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics OR MCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience: In-depth experience in core IT functions like Networking, Application Development, or Cloud/Hybrid Hosting, plus public procurement knowledge.

Reservation rules do not apply for deputation and absorption. However, eligible SC/ST applications are considered for selection along with others.

Age Limit

  • General Manager (E-8): Maximum 57 years as on 1 May 2026.
  • Deputy General Manager (E-5): Maximum 55 years as on 1 May 2026.

Salary

  • General Manager (E-8 Level): Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,80,000 per month.
  • Deputy General Manager (E-5 Level): Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000 per month.
  • Officers also get Leased Accommodation, Liberal Medical Facility, Leave Travel Concession, a cafeteria-approach basket of allowances, Superannuation Benefit, and CPF as per company rules.

Selection Process

There is no written exam. Selection is based on:

  1. Short-listing: Eligible candidates are short-listed based on qualifications, additional professional qualifications, experience, and achievements.
  2. Interview and APAR Assessment: Final selection is based on an interview and assessment of your APARs for the preceding three years. Weightage is given to APAR, experience profile, additional qualifications, and personality.

The crucial date for determining eligibility, experience, and age is 1 May 2026. No TA/DA is provided for the interview.

  2. Fill the form on A4 paper in English using a ball point pen, and sign it.
  3. Route your application through your parent organisation (proper channel) along with NOC, D&AR and Vigilance Clearance, and APARs for the last 3 years.
  4. Attach proof of age, qualification, experience certificates, and pay scale structure.
  5. Superscribe the envelope "Application for the post of ____ on Immediate Absorption basis".
  6. Send it to General Manager/HR(R&P), DFCCIL, Corporate Office Complex, Sector-145, Noida, Uttar Pradesh - 201306 (email: sundersingh@dfcc.co.in) so it reaches before 1 June 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the assigned department (Mechanical, Safety, Law, or IT) at the corporate or field level
  • Handle rolling stock, safety, legal, or IT operations for the freight corridor project
  • Prepare policies, technical standards, and procedures for the department
  • Manage public procurement and large-scale projects within budget and timeline
  • Coordinate with Indian Railways and other PSUs on multi-disciplinary matters
  • Monitor safety audits, accident inquiries, or legal disputes as per the role
  • Report progress and ensure compliance with company and government rules

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/relevant/CS-IT) or MCA or LLB (50% marks), depending on the post

Preferred Qualification

Master's degree in the relevant field (e.g., LLM, M.Tech in CS/IT); professional IT certifications (CCNA, CISA, ISO 27001) for DGM (IT)

Required Skills

Railway engineering, safety management, legal/arbitration, or IT (networking, application development, cloud) as per the post; minimum 3 years APARs

Age Limit

18 - 57 years (as on 01 May 2026)

Age Relaxation:

  • Deputy General Manager (E-5): Maximum age 55 years as on 1 May 2026
