IIFCL Projects Limited (IPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) — a 100% Government of India Enterprise — provides financial and infrastructure advisory services to central and state governments, local bodies and private developers across sectors like roads, ports, airports, power, tourism and urban infrastructure. IPL has been involved in major capacity building and policy advisory assignments for state governments across India, and continues to expand its consultant pool to support new mandates in renewable energy, disaster risk management, and digital infrastructure. IPL is inviting applications on a rolling basis to build a database of Individual Consultants across 65 IC Codes, spanning roles like Project & Contract Management Expert, Procurement Expert, Legal Expert, PPP Expert, Energy Sector Expert and GIS Specialist. Positions are based in Delhi, Chennai, Amaravati, Ahmedabad, the Northeast Region, and some roles allow posting anywhere in India. Professionals from Young Professional level to Senior Consultant level can apply for their area of expertise.

Specialisation Areas by Work Location

The 65 IC Codes listed in the notification are grouped below by primary work location — some specialisations are hired for more than one city depending on which projects need support at the time.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A relevant degree with post-qualification experience in your area of specialisation (project management, finance, legal, procurement, energy, environment, tourism, urban planning, GIS or MSME sectors)
• Experience by Grade: Young Professional needs about 1 year, Consultant Grade I needs 3-8 years, Consultant Grade II needs 8-15 years, and Senior Consultant (Grade III) needs 15+ years of post-qualification experience
• Typical Assignments: Depending on your specialisation and grade, you could be deployed on project structuring, financial modelling, contract management, environmental clearance support, or capacity building assignments
• Application Rule: You must clearly mention the IC Code and Grade Code you are applying for, as listed in the notification
• Remuneration for each selected candidate is finalised by IPL based on your experience, expertise and expectations.

Age Limit

• Young Professional: up to 32 years
• Consultant Grade I: up to 45 years
• Consultant Grade II: up to 50 years
• Senior Consultant (Grade III): up to 62 years

Salary

• Young Professional: Rs. 70,000 per month
• Consultant Grade I: Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,45,000 per month
• Consultant Grade II: Rs. 1,45,000 to Rs. 2,65,000 per month
• Senior Consultant (Grade III): Rs. 2,65,000 to Rs. 3,30,000 per month
• Your final remuneration will be decided based on your experience, expertise and expectations — IPL's decision is final in this regard.
• TA/DA and hotel accommodation will be paid or reimbursed as per company policy whenever you travel for official tours.

Selection Process

IPL maintains a rolling database of applications and engages consultants as and when a requirement arises in a specific specialisation. There is no written exam for this engagement — shortlisting is based on your qualifications, experience and expertise in the IC Code you apply for. You may be called for a discussion with IPL's project team before being confirmed for an assignment, and your profile will be matched against upcoming project requirements as they come up. Because engagement happens on an as-needed basis, being in the database does not guarantee an immediate offer.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations and project documentation for assigned engagements
• Coordinate with government departments, local bodies and private developers on project matters
• Travel to project sites and client offices as required by your assignment
• Contribute to capacity building, policy advocacy and resource mobilization initiatives
• Handle procurement, contract management or financial analysis tasks specific to your grade and specialisation
• Submit periodic progress updates and deliverables to IPL management
