• Master's degree with at least 55% marks
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a university or college
• Published research work with a minimum API score as per UGC regulations

Professor

• PhD in the relevant subject
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level
• Published research of high quality with strong API score

Principal

• PhD in the relevant discipline
• Professor/Associate Professor with minimum 15 years of teaching experience
• Strong academic and administrative track record

Librarian

• Master's degree in Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc. / M.L.I.Sc.) with at least 55% marks
• NET/SLET qualified in Library & Information Science

Age Limit

• As per Punjabi University / UGC / Punjab Government norms
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government rules

Salary

All posts carry salary as per UGC 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms:

• Assistant Professor — Pay Level 10, basic pay starting at Rs. 57,700 per month (in-hand approximately Rs. 90,000 - Rs. 1,10,000 with allowances)
• Associate Professor — Pay Level 13A, basic pay starting at Rs. 1,31,400 per month
• Professor — Pay Level 14, basic pay starting at Rs. 1,44,200 per month
• Principal — Pay equivalent to Professor level or higher, as per institution norms
• Librarian — Pay Level 10, basic pay starting at Rs. 57,700 per month
• Additional benefits include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as per Punjab Government rules
