Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Bandarsindri, Ajmer has released Advertisement No. CURAJ/R/F.174/Rectt./2026/4502 dated 20 April 2026 for teaching positions on direct recruitment. This is a rolling advertisement, and applications received by 04 June 2026 will be processed in the first phase. Who Can Apply?

Professor

• Qualification: Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with strong research publications as per UGC norms.
• Experience: Normally 10 years of teaching/research experience with doctoral guidance or equivalent professional contribution.

Associate Professor

• Qualification: Good academic record with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Experience: At least 8 years of teaching/research experience and required research publications/research score as per UGC rules.

Assistant Professor

• Qualification: Master's degree in the relevant subject with required marks and NET, unless exempted through Ph.D. under UGC Regulations 2018.
• Subject-specific norms: Engineering, hotel management, health sciences and other professional departments follow the relevant UGC/AICTE/NCTE/PCI/COA rules.

Salary

• Professor: Pay Level-14, Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month
• Associate Professor: Pay Level-13A, Rs. 1,31,400 to Rs. 2,17,100 per month
• Assistant Professor: Pay Level-10, Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400 per month
• Selected candidates will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per CURAJ, UGC and Government of India rules.

Application Fee

• UR / EWS / OBC: Rs. 1,500
• SC / ST / PWD: Rs. 750
• Regular employees of Central University of Rajasthan: No fee
• Payment must be made online through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

Selection Process

CURAJ will shortlist applications based on eligibility, qualifications, experience, research score and documents. The final selection process may include the following stages:

1. Application Scrutiny: The university will prepare eligible and not-eligible lists from submitted documents.
2. Presentation / Seminar: Shortlisted candidates may be asked to make a presentation or seminar.
3. Interview: Final assessment will be through interview or a combination of presentation, seminar and interview.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates, publications, caste/category certificates, NOC and vigilance clearance must be shown when required.
