Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) under the National Health Mission (NHM) Maharashtra and the 15th Finance Commission has issued a recruitment notice (advertisement format 2026-27) for 8 Full Time Medical Officer (MBBS) posts at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir health centres in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city. The selection is purely contractual and runs only up to 29 June 2026 or till the post sanction continues under the 2026-27 Action Plan. There is no written exam — selection is by direct walk-in interview.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree from a recognised university or institute.
• Council Registration: Valid Maharashtra Medical Council registration is compulsory. If your renewal is pending, the registration receipt will not be accepted.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with government or semi-government experience.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates above 60 years must produce a physical fitness certificate from a certified District Civil Surgeon.
• Clean Record: You should not have any disciplinary, financial, criminal or other serious cases against you.

Salary

• Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 60,000 per month (fixed)
• Engagement is purely on a contractual basis and is co-terminus with the 2026-27 Action Plan or up to 29 June 2026, whichever is earlier.
• This is not a regular State Government post. No claim to government service rules, pension, or permanency will be entertained.

Selection Process

Selection is purely merit and walk-in interview based — there is no written exam.

1. Document Verification: Original certificates, mark sheets, MBBS registration, caste certificate (if applicable), age proof, and domicile will be checked at the venue.
2. Walk-in Interview: Direct personal interview on 22 May 2026 at the Data Center, City Marvel Building, Niralabazar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
3. Final Merit: Merit list is prepared based on interview performance and the marks scoring sheet shown at the time of interview.

• Manage maternal and child health programmes including immunisation and antenatal care
• Maintain proper patient records, OPD registers, and health data on the portal
• Coordinate with ASHA workers, ANMs, and community health teams for outreach activities
• Refer serious cases to higher centres and follow up on treatment continuation
• Follow guidelines from the Municipal Health Officer and CSMC administration
