Salary
- MSTD-8, MSTD-13, MSTD-18 and CSET-8: Rs. 31,000 + 20% HRA per month for candidates with CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET including lectureship/assistant professorship, GATE, or qualifying national-level exams.
- MSTD-8, MSTD-13, MSTD-18 and CSET-8: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA per month for others.
- MSTD-20: Rs. 37,000 + 20% HRA per month for NET/GATE/national-level exam qualified candidates.
- MSTD-20: Rs. 30,000 + 20% HRA per month for others.
- Allowance: HRA is fixed at 20% as mentioned in the notification.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
M.Sc in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or Physics, or B.Tech in Chemical/Polymer Engineering for relevant post codes from a recognised university or equivalent.
Preferred Qualification
NET/GATE/national-level exam qualification for higher stipend; resin synthesis experience for MSTD-8; optoelectronic device fabrication experience for CSET-8.
