CMHO Office Rajnandgaon is hiring 13 contractual posts — 10 Pharmacists and 3 Medical Lab Technicians — under the District Mineral Fund (DMF) 2025-26. If you have a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy (for Pharmacist) or B.M.L.T. / D.M.L.T. (for Lab Technician) with live Paramedical Council registration, you can walk in directly. The monthly honorarium is Rs. 14,000. Walk-in interviews are scheduled on 22 April 2026 (Pharmacist) and 23 April 2026 (Lab Technician).

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), District Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh has announced a contractual walk-in recruitment for health workers under the District Mineral Fund (DMF). These posts are sanctioned to strengthen health services at district and block level as per administrative approval order No. 250199368108 dated 11.08.2025. There is no written exam — selection is based on academic merit and experience. The contract is for 1 year and non-transferable.

Note: 1 post of Pharmacist is reserved for persons with OL/OA disability. Disability reservation is applicable only for OL, OA, and HH categories as per CG Government rules.

Who Can Apply?

For Pharmacist:

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution
• Registration: Live registration with the Paramedical Council is mandatory

For Medical Lab Technician:

• Qualification: B.M.L.T. (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) or D.M.L.T. (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) from a recognised institution
• Registration: Live registration with the Paramedical Council is mandatory

Other Requirements:

• You should be a domicile of Chhattisgarh (the application form asks for CG domicile status)
• Application form must be submitted in the prescribed format (download from www.rajnandgaon.nic.in)
• Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years as on 01 January 2026
• Maximum age: As per Chhattisgarh Government rules (upper age limit as notified by the state government)
• Age is calculated based on your 10th (Matriculation) marksheet

Salary

• Monthly consolidated honorarium: Rs. 14,000 per month for both Pharmacist and Medical Lab Technician
• This is a contractual fixed pay — no pension, gratuity, or death-in-service benefits are applicable
• Contract is for 1 year, renewable subject to performance and project continuation

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on merit. You need to appear for the Walk-in Interview in person:

1. Walk-in Registration: Arrive at CMHO Office Rajnandgaon (near Gurudwara) between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the scheduled date with your filled application form and documents
2. Eligible / Ineligible List: Published at 1:30 PM on the same day
3. Claims / Objections: Accepted till 2:00 PM on the same day
4. Merit List Publication: Final merit list published by 5:00 PM on the same day

Merit Score Calculation:

• Academic Marks: 90% weightage — percentage scored in mandatory educational qualification
• Experience: Up to 10 marks — 2 marks per year of relevant experience in government/public institution (only experience of 12+ months at one institution counts; experience certificate + appointment letter must be attached)
• COVID-19 Bonus: Up to 10 additional marks for temporary health workers who served continuously for 6+ months in CG state health institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic (as per CG Government order dated 07.12.2021)

• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and maintain pharmacy records
• Check prescriptions for accuracy and assist doctors in medication management
• Conduct laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples as assigned (Lab Technician)
• Prepare and maintain lab equipment, reagents, and test reports
• Follow infection control and biosafety protocols at all times
• Maintain stock registers for medicines or lab consumables and report shortages
• Assist in health camps and community outreach programmes at district and block level
