Government ITI Janjgir Guest Lecturer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Nodal Industrial Training Institute, Shaskiya Audyogik Prashikshan Sanstha (Govt. ITI), Janjgir Champa has released a notification for 1 Guest Lecturer post for the Workshop Calculation and Engineering Drawing trade at ITI Sarangarh. This is a temporary, per-session appointment for training session 2026-27. There is no written exam — selection is entirely merit-based on your technical qualification marks. If a regular or contract officer is posted to this position later, the guest lecturer's services will automatically end.

Who Can Apply?

You need to meet all three of the following conditions:

• Basic Education: Pass in High School (11th or equivalent) from a recognized board under old or new pattern.
• Trade Certificate: One of the following in the relevant trade:
  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) from NCVT
  • National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NATS (formerly NAPS)
  • State Trade Certificate from SCVT + National Apprenticeship Certificate from NATS
  • OR Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or board
• DGT Higher Training: Passed from a higher training institution under DGT — ATI, CTI, NVTI, RVTI, or I-ToT.
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Chhattisgarh. A valid domicile certificate is mandatory.

Note: Equivalency and comparability for engineering branches will be decided as per the Chhattisgarh Audyogik Prashikshan (Non-Gazetted) Third Class Recruitment Rules, 15 May 2019.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 20 April 2026)
• Maximum age: Not specified in notification
• Age proof: You must attach your 10th marksheet to verify date of birth.

Salary

• Honorarium: Rs. 140 per hour (Rupees One Hundred and Forty only)
• Maximum per day: 5 hours per working day
• Maximum per month: Rs. 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only)
• This rate is subject to revision by the government from time to time.
• No claim can be made for a permanent post — this appointment is for one training session only.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based purely on merit — no written test is conducted:

1. Merit List Preparation: A merit list is prepared based on your marks in the technical qualification certificate (NTC / NAC / Diploma / Degree). Note: Marks from ATI/CTI/NVTI/RVTI/I-ToT are NOT included in merit calculation.
2. Tie-Breaking Rule: If you have more than one technical qualification, the certificate with the highest percentage will be used.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called with all original documents. You must appear at the institution immediately when invited via phone or email.

The selection list will be subject to the order of the Hon'ble High Court Bilaspur in WP(S) No. 4836/2020.

• Guide trainees in engineering drawing techniques, calculations, and workshop safety practices
• Follow all directions from the Principal/Nodal Officer of the institution
• Attend sessions on schedule and complete the assigned training hours per working day
