The Principal and Nodal Officer, Shaskiya Audyogik Prashikshan Sanstha (Government Industrial Training Institute), Korba, Chhattisgarh has released a notification for 2 Guest Lecturer posts in the Workshop Calculation and Engineering Drawing trade for the training session 2026-27. These vacancies exist because the regular or contractual training officer posts are currently vacant (excluding posts already occupied by working regular/contractual officers). Guest Lecturers are engaged only for 1 training session at a time, and their services may end if a regular or contractual appointment is made to the same post.

Who Can Apply?

The qualification required for the Workshop Calculation and Engineering Drawing trade is:

• You should have passed High School (10th) or 11th class (or equivalent) from a recognised board.
• You should hold a National Trade Certificate from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) in the relevant trade — along with a Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or board; OR a National Apprenticeship Certificate from RDAT.
• Alternatively, you can be a graduate/pass-out from DGT higher training institutions such as ATI, CTI, NVTI, RVTI, or ITT.
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh domicile certificate is mandatory.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 20 April 2026, the application closing date)
• No maximum age is mentioned in the notification.
• Date of birth must be verified with 10th class marksheet — it is mandatory to attach it.

Salary

• Pay rate: Rs. 140 per hour for teaching work
• Maximum per working day: 5 hours of paid teaching
• Maximum per month: Rs. 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only)
• This rate is subject to revision as per orders issued by the Chhattisgarh government from time to time.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination. Selection is based on merit list prepared from technical qualification marks:

1. Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in technical qualifications — ITI (National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate/Diploma/Degree, etc.). ATI/CTI/NVTI/RVTI/ITT marks are NOT included in merit calculation.
2. Priority Rule: For posts requiring ATI/CTI/NVTI/RVTI/ITT, candidates with 1-year ATI/CTI/NVTI/RVTI/ITT certificate will be given priority. If such candidates are not available, those with other specified technical qualifications are considered.
3. Multiple Certificates: If a candidate has more than one technical qualification, the certificate with the highest percentage will be used for merit calculation.
4. Document Verification: Selected candidates will be invited based on the merit list and must immediately present all original documents at the institution.

Selection lists will be subject to the orders of the Hon'ble High Court Bilaspur (WP(S) No. 4836/2020 — Shri Anil Kumar Pali vs CG Government).

2. Fill in the application form completely. Write the name of the institution and trade on the envelope.
3. Attach a self-signed passport-size photograph on the application form.
4. Self-attest all attached photocopies of certificates (your own signature on each copy is mandatory).
5. Attach proof of Chhattisgarh domicile along with the application.
6. Submit a separate application in a separate envelope for each institution/trade you are applying to.

8. Applications received after the deadline, incomplete applications, or unsigned applications will not be accepted.
