Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar (Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Education, Government of India) has invited applications for 8 project staff posts in the project entitled "Multilevel Capacity Building and Skilling in Industry-aligned Emerging Technologies" at the Department of CSE. Selection is through a walk-in interview — no written exam. Freshers and experienced candidates with backgrounds in AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Cyber Security, and Python coding will be preferred.

• Office Assistant: 1 post — Upto Rs. 24,000/month
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: 1 post — Rs. 27,000/month + HRA
• Project Associate-I / Training Coordinator: 2 posts — Rs. 37,000/month + HRA (NET/GATE) or Rs. 30,000/month + HRA (non-NET/GATE)
• Assistant Faculty-I: 2 posts — Rs. 50,000/month + HRA
• Assistant Faculty-2 / Senior Project Associate: 1 post — Rs. 57,000/month + HRA
• Principal Project Associate / Course Instructor: 1 post — Rs. 67,000/month + HRA

Who Can Apply?

1. Office Assistant (1 post):

• Essential: Graduate degree in any discipline + 2 years' experience in academic Institution or S&T organisations.
• Desirable: Master's degree with good communication skills + experience in MS Office and Data Analysis.
• Age: Up to 35 years.

2. Lab Assistant / Project Assistant (1 post):

• Essential: B.E/B.Tech in CSE/IT/Data Science or MCA/M.Sc (CS/IT) + 2 years' R&D experience, OR M.E/M.Tech in CSE/IT from a recognised university.
• Desirable: Knowledge of AI/ML, Python, willing to enrol for PhD at CIT Kokrajhar.
• Age: Up to 35 years.

3. Project Associate-I / Training Coordinator (2 posts):

• Essential: M.E/M.Tech in CSE/IT from a recognised university.
• Desirable: Knowledge of AI/ML/IoT/Cyber Security, Python, willing to enrol for PhD at CIT Kokrajhar.
• Age: Up to 35 years.

4. Assistant Faculty-I (2 posts):

• Essential: M.E/M.Tech in CSE/IT + 2 years' R&D experience.
• Desirable: AI/ML/IoT/Cyber Security knowledge, Python, willing to enrol for PhD, CSIR-UGC NET (Category-3 admission to PhD) or GATE.
• Age: Up to 35 years.

5. Assistant Faculty-2 / Senior Project Associate (1 post):

• Essential: Doctoral Degree in Engineering from a recognised university + 1 year R&D experience + at least 2 SCI/Scopus indexed research papers.
• Age: Up to 35 years.

6. Principal Project Associate / Course Instructor (1 post):

• Essential: Doctoral Degree in Engineering + 4 years' R&D experience + 4 SCI/Scopus indexed research papers.
• Age: Up to 50 years.

Age Limit

• Office Assistant, Lab/Project Assistant, Project Associate-I, Assistant Faculty-I, Senior Project Associate: up to 35 years
• Principal Project Associate / Course Instructor: up to 50 years
• Age and eligibility are considered as on the last date of application.

Salary

• Office Assistant: Upto Rs. 24,000/month (based on qualification & experience)
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: Rs. 27,000/month + HRA
• Project Associate-I: Rs. 37,000/month + HRA (with NET/GATE) or Rs. 30,000/month + HRA
• Assistant Faculty-I: Rs. 50,000/month + HRA
• Assistant Faculty-2 / Senior Project Associate: Rs. 57,000/month + HRA
• Principal Project Associate: Rs. 67,000/month + HRA
• Pay structure is as per ANRF/OM/N-01/2024 dated 14 October 2024.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in interview:

Annual performance is reviewed half-yearly. Annual increment up to 10% may be granted based on satisfactory performance.
